Bears are the best fishers. They don’t need any gear, or chum, or Koriak ritual dancing. They know all the fishing spots and make use of them. Kamchatka’s Ursuses are used to indulge themselves in local delicacies and they won’t settle for anything less. Salmon all the way.
Lo and behold… the unsuspecting salmon migrate from the ocean to spawn and stops for a rest in the quiet backwater. And that’s the exact place where they fall into the bears’ skillful paws. That’s why the cluster of islands on the Avacha river was called the Bear Region.
We invite you for a horse-riding expedition to this magical place. An abundance of plants, fresh air and interaction with wildlife will enrich your life with excitement and joy.
