Crater maar “Bears’ Chasha”

Crater maar “Bears’ Chasha”, Tolmachev lake, Apacha thermal springs

10 hours

People has always been in awe of the volcanos. Their ability to destroy every living thing in this world is truly terrifying. The history of the Earth is full of examples of their destructive nature. And it seems that they only bring death and disruption and no force in the world can resist them.

As the time moves on we observe a magical sight of glorious revival. The landscape is changing and acquires an emerald coat of flora, the waterfalls run through rocks and cliffs, mesmerizing lakes and new riverbeds are forming. The result of such acts of nature is the formation of maar «Bears’ Chasha» consisting of Tolmachev Dol and lake. This place was called this way because bears have taken fancy to the nearby berry-field.

This wonderful excursion full of new experiences can be concluded with some relaxation in a comfortable thermal pool in a homey recreational compound away from civilization.
