From the above, caldera of the ancient volcano Gorely looks like smoldering ruins. Thousands of years ago its lava spread across hundreds of kilometers. But if you look closely you’ll see the beginning of a new fragile life. It is important to be extremely gentle with the local flora.
The streams of blistering lava left holes underground that turned into the volcanic coves. One of the coves’ acoustics was so unique that it inspired the idea to hold a classical music concert in it. And it turned out to be very successful, so the concert became an annual event.
When visiting this cove you can easily imagine some aria being sung in there. Its spacious dome is very fitting for a singing performance.
The splendor of Kamchatka’s nature is represented in the waterfall at the Medvyezhiy Spring, so a visit there shall be a nice addition to the experience.
Bathing in thermal waters of «Hot Springs» shall leave you energized and a hot meal shall replenish you.
